Everything in order
The four folders Inbox, Outbox, Sent and Templates give you a clear
overview of your SMS messages, and you can also sort your messages
using freely definable categories, e.g. in order to separate private
and business messages. Depending on which folder they are in, saved
messages can be read, answered, forwarded, edited, copied, deleted or
used as templates.
Child's play
The graphical user interface with the Start Center makes the application extremely easy to use, while
integration with the Palm address book helps you to choose the recipient and sender of incoming SMS
messages. And to make using funSMS 5 even easier, it also supports the
Palm 5-Way Navigator, the Sony JogDial, as well as the hard keys of
up-to-date Palm OS PDA's and smartphones.
Unrestricted freedom
It goes without saying that you can also send messages to multiple recipients.
Multi-line messages
raise the restriction to 160 characters which usually applies to SMS messages.
Phone numbers and e-mail
addresses can be pasted from the Palm Address Book.
Always at hand
SMS messages can be written and then saved as a template together with the
recipient list, which
is particularly practical when you frequently need to send the same message.
Status awareness
A signature can be automatically added to every SMS message. Provided the function is supported
by your network provider, a status report can be requested for transmitted SMS messages. If the
recipient uses a modern mobile phone, you can select the option Flash SMS to have the message
shown immediately on the display.
Never forget anything ever again
Important SMS messages can be exported to the Palm applications Memo Pad and
To Do List. The SMS
databases can be edited under Microsoft Windows and Mac OS using third-party applications (available
as freeware or shareware). funSMS 5 is also integrated in the Wassup information centre.
Small, big, bigger!
funSMS 5 supports the "old" screen resolution with 160*160 pixel as
well as the high resolution screens of the actual Palm OS PDAs with
320*320 pixel. If desired, funSMS 5 uses the
160*240 and/or 320*480 pixel for PDAs and smartphones with a
fade-out Dynamic Input Area.
Individualist?
Do you want to customize funSMS 5? No problem. The Microsoft Windows application supplied with
the program allows you to convert an image into funSMS 5 format and display it in the Start Center.

Bluetooth or the serial interface for integrating your
mobile phone.
The integrated phone-drivers make you independent from the drivers
of the hardware manufacturers. The integrated Bluetooth power management
helps you to save valuable energy and to increase the run-time of your
Palm OS PDA.
Better safe than sorry
funSMS 5 can even help users who want to leave messages on their
mobile phone. By enabling
the corresponding option, funSMS 5 only retrieves new messages from the phone without deleting
them.
Plug and Play
A comprehensive database containing the configurations of a multitude of commonly used
mobile
phones and over 230 network providers from over 150
countries world-wide simplifies your introduction to
funSMS 5 without
you having to spend time and effort with a complicated configuration and testing. You can, of course,
configure all the options of the fMML (fun Mobile Messaging Library) manually. fun communications operates a fully-equipped test laboratory
with over 100 mobile phones and Palm PDAs to guarantee maximum compatibility.
funSMS 5 has been tested successfully with the following mobile
phones:

- SonyEricsson: T68i, T300, T302, T306, T310, T312, T316, T610,

Furthermore funSMS 5 works with many similar constructed mobile phones
of the above mentioned manufacturers. If your mobile phone is not listed
above, please try it with another mobile phone from the same manufacturer.
For the communication with the mobile phone funSMS 5 supports in
addition to the Bluetooth adapter from palmOne (SDIO), Sony (Memory
Stick), TDK (Jacket) and RedM (Jacket) also the IrDA adapters DI27 and
DI28 from Ericsson.

funSMS 5 PDA and Smartphones
The minimum requirement for funSMS 5 PDA is Palm OS 4.0. If you use
a PDA with Palm OS 3.x, we offer you with funSMS 3
an attractive SMS application. Furthermore funSMS 3 supports also the
smartphones from Handspring / palmOne Treo 180, Treo 180g
and Treo 270 as well as the palmOne Tungsten W.
Update to funSMS 5
The upgrade from any previous version of funSMS 5.0 for smartphones
is free of charge. You can use the same registration key for funSMS
5.0. By this means we provide all our customers with the possibility
to switch for free to the new, attractive version of funSMS. The
upgrade to all succeeding versions will only be free of charge for
customers, who bought at least funSMS 5.0 for smartphones. For all
other customers, the prize for the upgrade will be 9.95 Euro.
funSMS 4 Treo 600 GSM
 palmOne Treo 600 Smartphone
User of a palmOne Treo 600 smartphone can benefit from the
high performance of funSMS 4 by substituting it for the basic SMS
application supplied with the device. If you own a Treo 180,
180g or 270,
then benefit from the high performance of funSMS 3
by substituting it for the basic SMS application supplied with the
device.
funSMS 4 Treo 600 GSM supports the 5-way navigation button for
comfortable navigation within the application. For a quick use of
funSMS 4, just put funSMS 4 on the "email/SMS access" button. This
could be defined in the settings. Subsequently you could also use the
"email/SMS access" button to jump back to the previous view.
At the moment funSMS 4 Treo 600 GSM supports only GSM-networks.
funSMS 4 Xplore GSM

Xplore Smartphone
User of a GSL Xplore G18 or G88 can benefit from
the high performance of funSMS 4 by substituting it for the basic SMS
application supplied with the device.
funSMS 4 Xplore GSM supports the enlarged resolution of the Xplore with 160*240
Pixel.
Enlarge or downsize funSMS 4 with the triangle button down to the
right or the arrow symbol in the display.
funSMS 4 Treo 600 supports the 5-way navigation button for
comfortable navigation within the application. To jump backwards
within the application just use the ESC-button.

mobile phone network, intelligent search function, send the same
SMS to several persons, operation is childishly simple, graphic
user surface, supplements the name automatically. Does what it
claims to do above without any problems whatsoever. There should
