Everything in order
The four folders Inbox, Outbox, Sent and Templates give you a clear
overview of your SMS messages, and you can also sort your messages
using freely definable categories, e.g. in order to separate private
and business messages. Depending on which folder they are in, saved
messages can be read, answered, forwarded, edited, copied, deleted or
used as templates.
Child's play
The graphical user interface with the Start Center makes the application extremely easy to use, while
integration with the Palm address book helps you to choose the recipient and sender of incoming SMS
messages.
Unrestricted freedom
It goes without saying that you can also send messages to multiple recipients.
Multi-line messages
raise the restriction to 160 characters which usually applies to SMS messages.
Fax numbers and e-mail
addresses can be pasted from the Palm Address Book.
Always at hand
SMS messages can be written and then saved as a template together with the
recipient list, which
is particularly practical when you frequently need to send the same message.
Status awareness
A signature can be automatically added to every SMS message. Provided the function is supported
by your network provider, a status report can be requested for transmitted SMS messages. If the
recipient uses a modern mobile phone, you can select the option Flash SMS to have the message
shown immediately on the display.
Never forget anything ever again
Important SMS messages can be exported to the Palm applications Memo Pad and
To Do List. The SMS
databases can be edited under Microsoft Windows and Mac OS using third-party applications (available
as freeware or shareware). funSMS 3 is also integrated in the Wassup information centre.
Individualist?
Do you want to customise funSMS 3? No problem. The Microsoft Windows application supplied with
the program allows you to convert an image into funSMS 3 format and display it in the Start Center.

Communication with mobile phones
The fMML, the fun Mobile Messaging Library, is responsible
for the communication with mobile phones. The fMML has been
preconfigured for the majority of GSM and PCS networks in use
world-wide. The list currently covers 231 networks in 154 countries.
To configure the fMML, simply select the country followed by the
network. The list can be extended manually if required. The fMML has
been pre-configured for many of the mobile phones available today.
Simply select the manufacturer followed by the relevant model. If
your model is not included in the list, it can also be configured
manually. Palm Powered Organizers and mobile phones can communicate
by infrared or Bluetooth, or by using a serial cable or an option
adapter.
