fun4palm Toolbar
It doesn’t get much more practical than this: the fun4palm Toolbar gives you direct access
to all the most important web sites about the Palm OS Organizer. The fun4palm Toolbar is
displayed as an extra toolbar in Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Directory
The most important Palm OS links are sorted into Software, Hardware and News. The
fourth category, Development, contains links for Palm OS software developers. You can
hide or display this button using the options under the fun4palm button.
Searching the Software Catalogues
You can search the PalmGear, Handango and pdassi software catalogues directly. To do
this, simply enter your search terms in the box in the fun4palm Toolbar and then press
Enter or click on one of the buttons next to the search field. You can use the little
arrow on the right of the Search button to set your favourite search site or to use
another search page. Of course, the fun4palm Toolbar also supports Google searches.

The fun4palm Toolbar saves your last search terms in a history. If you select an entry
in the history, a search will be started automatically. You can delete the history from
the fun4palm menu.
Highlight
The Highlight function highlights all the search terms that were found in the search results.
Each search term is highlighted in a different colour.

Word Search Buttons
You can use these buttons to find your search terms in a particular page. The word search
buttons are generated automatically from your last search.

Function for Developers
Palm OS software developers should have a look at the option Developer.
It contains direct links to PalmSource, the developer areas of the hardware
manufacturers, to sourcecode archives and to the developer logins of PalmGear, Handango
and pdassi. Furthermore you can search the PalmSource KnowledgeBase directly.
Configuring the fun4palm Toolbar
You can use the Options... function in the fun4palm menu to customise the fun4palm
Toolbar to suit your needs. You can hide or show buttons and change the size of the search field.
You can also set your preferred search engine using the search button menu.

Help
You can use the Help function of the fun4palm button to show comprehensive help for all
the functions of the fun4palm Toolbar.
Hiding/Displaying the Toolbar
You can hide or display the fun4palm Toolbar using the View -> Toolbars menu in Microsoft
Internet Explorer or by using the context menu that appears when you right-click on a blank
area of the toolbar.
Uninstalling the Toolbar
You can uninstall the fun4palm Toolbar by choosing Uninstall from the
fun4palm button or by selecting Remove Software in the Control Panel.
